American InsurTech Council Fall Briefing Breakfast was held on Wednesday morning December 14th in Tampa, FL during the NAIC. AITC provided an overview of work conducted by the Society of Actuaries to support the development of a regulatory governance framework for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Our guest speakers included Dale Hall and Amanda Turctotte, from the Society of Actuaries, and was moderated by AITC Co-Founder Scott Harrison.

The NAIC is currently working on the various issues surrounding AI and ML for the business of insurance. The AITC stands ready to be a resource for regulators to assist them in understanding and providing guidance.

After the presentation a robust question and answer session took place. The audience included regulators and various industry representatives.
